I have recently become a major fan of Single Girl Blogging. Her most recent post discusses the phenomenon of single men feeling the what would seem to be uncontrollable urge to send a penis pics to unsuspecting single women everywhere. I highly recommend you check it out because I found the post to be truly entertaining and a subject matter I'm sure almost everyone NYC woman has encountered at some point in their dating career.
What is the deal with the sending of unsolicited penis pics? I've definitely received more than my share over the years, the majority of which weren't even impressive. Perhaps they realize that they're peen is lacking and are hoping for the sympathy vote from women or even the possibility of a "charity fuck"?
At what point do you guys think it's good practice to send a penis pic to a girl? I feel like the majority I've received have come before even a first date. And what kind of response are you guys even looking to get from that?
Based on the number of men signing up for our "Hung" Speed Dating event specifically designed for women seeking men packing 7 inches or bigger, I truly believe it's an ego thing.
I think the majority of men are insecure and suffering from what I will diagnose as an almost debilitating case "dong doubt." They either feel that their schlong is the best thing they have to offer, or they are looking for compliments and affirmations that they actually measure up to the men in your past and that their limited schlong size isn't going to be a deal-breaker. Maybe in essence they're just cutting to the chase so you can 'know before you go.'
Whatever it is, I'm not a fan and I'd like to hear if any women out there are and have actually encouraged men to send peen pics. I know a lot of the single men on this site are partakers in sending penis pics. Please acknowledge it and let us know what inspires you to do so. I promise no judgement, : ) unless you actually send a peen pic at which point I will forward it to all my single friends, gay men & women alike and your penis will be fully judged. | |

| I'd have to say my worst date ever would be, a mutual friend of friends who contacted me and we'd chatted for a week before going on our first date. We went out for dinner, drinks and dancing and had great flowing conversation all night. The attraction, chemistry everything was on point, tell me why he dropped in out of nowhere that he had a wife and that he was married!?? (Mind you in chatting I specifically asked him if he were single or in a relationship, even asked literally if he was married to cover everything).... he replied to me in chatting: "No, I wouldn't be talking to you if I was married".... Ugh returning to this worst date night, I was so disgusted and asked him: "Why did you lie in the first place when I specifically asked you?".... of course he replied: "Would you have talked to me and agreed to go on this date if I had told you the truth?".... lol I said: "Are you serious?" |

I can write a book about worst dates, but here's one. I met this guy online. We talked a few times; he seemed down-to-earth etc. etc. So after a few phone conversations, we agreed to meet. We met for a light meal and drinks. Things were going well and the place had a little after party going on, so we decided to check it out. This was around winter, so we needed to head to the coat check. With coat, and purse (phone laying on top open in bag) in hand, I asked him to hold my purse while I put the coat on the hanger. I blinked and this dude was out with my bag!!! Luckily he returned but had this dazed looked in his eyes. This guy went to the rest room and went through my phone. He had the nerve to ask me about every male contact in my phone. Umm, can you say crazy. So, I never even got into the club when this dude starts going off. So, I go back to coat check and get my coat to leave. It's gets better, he leaves too. He starts talking irrational. We belong together. We have so much in common. I don't date cause I know what I want and you should just be my girl. Because I already know he's insane, I ignore him and keep it moving. Wrong move, this guy starts shouting in the middle of the street, "That's why you're single. You're too controlling." Oh it gets better. He is now following me saying this all the way down the block. Finally, I reach my car, jump inside, lock the door and proceed to leave. Everybody, he is still shouting. It's now raining/pouring even. And he shouts, I live in Queens. I can't get a cab from here. You should let me come with you because it's easier to get a train in the morning. Um, there's no logic in that. So with a quick maneuver on the wheel, I pulled off and let Mr. Crazy in the Rain man behind. He called me that night 6 times to apologize, then it became threatening. I blocked him. Called the online site to report him to avoid this happening to any other female. Seriously, I can't make this stuff up. That was the worst ever!

Worst Date Ever!

While at a local bar, I started chatting with a really cute guy. By the end of the night, he and I exchanged numbers. A few days later, he asked me out to dinner. I was excited and graciously accepted.
We planned on meeting after work on a weekday night. He selected a Italian restaurant. The food wasn't good, but I didn't mind. During the dinner he seemed really rushed. I wanted to relax, perhaps with a glass of wine or some dessert. Unfortunately, he had other plans. He wanted to leave and head back to hang out at his place. I was ok with it. I knew nothing was going to happen between us. We watched some TV, talked a bit and then it was time for me to head home. He decided to walk me to my car. Sweet, eh? So just as I thanked him and was about to close my car door... I hear a BRRRRP. I took a double take... there was no misinterpretation... the dude FARTED!! I was mortified. To make matters worse, he muttered "Wow! I was holding that in for 2 hours!" I could not believe it! He could have EASILY used the bathroom in his place! I quickly realized why he was so rushed at the restaurant. He also had the audacity to call me a few weeks later to ask me out again. While this was a horrible date, I still love telling the story.
Other funny dates:
1. A guy complimented me on my "knee caps"
2. A guy bit his nails and proceeding to spit them on the table we were sitting at.

I can only pick one? Here goes:
After chatting with this guy online, we finally had our first date/face to face meeting. Thankfully he looked like he did in his photos and he seemed nice. I noticed he had really small hands (they were the same size as mine and he was almost 6 feet tall - I'm just under 5'4" and I have pretty small hands), but I overlooked it and gave things a chance.
We're having dinner and it's great. The conversation is flowing, we have a lot in common, and I'm having a good time. The he dropped a bombshell - or more appropriately, a room key (he actually waved it around during dessert):
Him: I got us a room.
Me (really confused): Why?
Him: I'll be honest, I'm really not looking to date, I just want a **** buddy. (for the record, we did NOT meet on a hookup site)
Me: Really?
Him: Yeah. I just don't the time and energy for a girlfriend. But I have needs. Do you like a***?
Me (trying to stay calm): I see.
Him: I mean, things are going well, so we should probably just close the deal, am I right?
He then rambled on for a few minutes more and I told him while I appreciated how up front he was, I was not the right girl for him and called it an evening. I wish I could say that was it, but he continued to text me for a few months after that. He finally got the hint and went away.
BONUS bad date story: I had a lunch date with a guy who informed me that he'd been married (and divorced) twice (he was 32), and that he used to do porn, and "really wanted to get back into it".
Because nothing say great date like 2 failed marriages and a porn career :)
